Installation

Install on JCMS

Follow the JCMS plugin installation first.
After installing this plugin, don't forget to activate the web services in JCMS properties editor if not already done.
To activate web services (Open API) : enable Open API, read accesses and operations. It is possible to configure filter for IP Addresses.

Install on your PC

Download and install the Jalios Microsoft Office Add-in on your PC. Be sure, all Microsoft applications are closed.
Start Microsoft Office Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
Open the JCMS pane.
Connect to your server : enter the URL of your JCMS site, your login and your password.
Create a new office document and upload on your JCMS site it with "upload" button of the JCMS pane.
To edit a document, find it either with the document browser tab, the search tab or the recent file tab. Click to edit. The document will be locked on JCMS until you release the lock or you upload new version.

This plugin requires JCMS 7.0 SP3 or an above Service Pack. It is compatible with JCMS 7.1.

1. Quelles sont les versions de Microsoft Office supportées ?

Le module fonctionne avec les versions :

2. Comment se positionne ce module vis-à-vis de WebDAV ?

Le module Microsoft Office est une alternative à l’accès WebDAV. Il n’utilise pas du tout le protocole WebDAV pour communiquer.

L’add-in détecte qu’il s’agit d’une édition WebDAV et ne propose alors plus le dépôt du document.

Les documents édités via WebDAV ne bénéficiront pas des avantages liés à l’édition via l’add-in (notamment pas d’édition off-line, pas de pose de verrou « dur », pas d'édition des méta-données, ...)
