Collaborative Space Plugin 3.1

The Collaborative space plugin provides support to open, manage and work in Collaborative Spaces.

A Collaborative Space is a portal of services dedicated to a set of members. A collaborative Space is either public or private.

All the publications of a private Collaborative Space are restricted to its members. In addition to functional services (calendar, wiki, document explorer, ...) special services are reserved to the administrators:

members management: to add members, send invitations and validate subscriptions
service management: to add and remove services
settings: to customize the behavior and the look of the collaborative space

This plugin requires JCMS 7.0 SP3 or an above Service Pack. It is not compatible with JCMS 7.1

When Jalios ESN is installed, the search is extended to the user profile information: field of expertise, interests, training, career, etc. In collaborative spaces the Directory Portlet can be configured to manage only the members of this particular space.

The Directory Portlet allows two views depending on the usage context:
- Reduced view: display in a column or on the Virtual Desktop,
- Detailed view: a full-page display (e.g. in a collaborative space).
Conversation Spaces Plugin 1.0.1

The Conversation spaces plugin brings a new conversational dimension to JCMS. It provides a vehicle for contacts and interactivity between people interested in specific subjects. In a sense the conversation space is the successor of the traditional forum. This plugin presently supports three types of conversation space: suggestion box, collaborative FAQ or Forum.

A conversation space is managed by one or several animators. It is also possible to assign an expert group. Users start a discussion on a precise subject, often an idea, a question or a topic. The other members can participate at several levels, by posting reactions, answers and remarks or by voting. These votes help identify the most interesting ideas, the most relevant questions and the best answers. In this manner, the members help to enhance the value of the information.

By default, points and comments aren't activated on Forum. You can activate the points by modifying Forum type.

Conversation Space Community allows to regroup one Suggestion Box, one Social FAQ, and one Forum into one content.

The iPhone plugin makes conversation spaces accessible via an iPhone or Android smartphone. The interface enables remote participation (consult, vote, contribute) in all the user's spaces.

Ce module ajoute le concept de Blog dans JCMS.

Par rapport à la version 4.1.1 :
- Afin de répondre aux besoins de volumétrie des Blogs, ils sont maintenant stockés en base de données.
- Par ailleurs, les Blogs bénéficient maintenant d'une nouvelle ergonomie intégrée aux autres modules JCMS ainsi que d'interfaces de création simplifiées.
- La blogosphère permet à chacun des membres d'un JCMS d'ouvrir son propre Blog.
