Category Rights Plugin

This plugin provides a new read access policy for the publications. This policy propagates the category rights to the publications. A publication is not visible for a member if it uses at least one category this member cannot access.

A version of this plugin compatible with JCMS 6.0 is available:

Installation

  1. Install the plugin:
    • Just follow the PluginManager installation process.
    • Restart the site.
  2. Configure the plugin:
    • Go to the plugin's Properties tab (under Administration tab)
    • In the Types field, enter the list of types to be controlled (separated with spaces)
    • In the Categories (ids) field, Enter the identifiers of category roots to be controlled (separated with spaces).
